Don't just say "it's damp." Say "There is black mould on the north wall of the bedroom, approximately 1 meter by 1 meter."

Set a Deadline

Ask for the repairs to be done by a specific date (e.g., 14 days). If they ignore this, you have evidence of their failure to act.
