Who we are & what we do

UK Housing Claims is a trading name of DVC Group Limited (company number 10462808), a company registered in England and Wales. We are a marketing and lead generation business, not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice or handle claims ourselves. What we do is check whether you may have a housing disrepair claim and then introduce you to a specialist solicitor from our panel who can advise you and, if you wish, take your claim forward. DVC Group Limited is the data controller responsible for the personal data you provide through this website.

The data we collect

Identity & contact data, your name, email address, telephone number, address and postcode.
Claim data, details about your tenancy and the disrepair you are reporting (e.g. tenant type, the type and timing of the problem, whether you have reported it to your landlord).
Technical & usage data, IP address, device and browser information, and how you use our website (via cookies and analytics, see our Cookie Policy).

How we use your data

We use your data to check your potential eligibility, to introduce you to a solicitor from our panel, to contact you about your enquiry, and to run and improve our website. Our lawful bases are:

Consent, when you submit the form you consent to us sharing your details with a panel solicitor so they can contact you about your claim. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
Legitimate interests, to operate, secure and improve our website and services.

Who we share your data with

So that you can be advised on your claim, we share the details you submit with a specialist housing disrepair solicitor (or claims firm) from our panel of trusted third-party partners, who will contact you about your potential claim. This is how our service works and how it is funded: we may receive a fee or commission from that partner for introducing you. That partner will become a controller of your data and will handle it under their own privacy policy, which they will make available to you.

We also share data with service providers who help us run the website, for example our hosting and form/data providers, and analytics and advertising providers (such as Google and Meta) where you have consented to cookies. We do not sell your data for unrelated third-party marketing, and we will only pass your details to a panel partner with your consent.

Advertising & analytics

To measure and improve our advertising, we use Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API. When you submit an enquiry, we may share a limited set of your details, such as a securely hashed (irreversible) version of your email address, phone number, name and postcode, with Meta so we can measure the performance of our ads and build audiences of similar people (for example, "lookalike" audiences). We rely on your consent, given when you accept advertising cookies and submit the enquiry form, together with our legitimate interest in marketing our service. You can object or withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected], and you can control advertising cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
